RUMOURS: Guardiola wants Arteta at Manchester City

The midfielder is expected to leave the north Londoners this summer when his contact expires after five years and has already been offered a role at the Etihad Stadium
Pep Guardiola wants to bring Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta to Manchester City in a coaching role, according to the Daily Mail. 

The Spaniard's contract with the Gunners expires at the end of the season and he is expected to leave the Emirates after falling down the pecking order. 

Arteta has already met with Guardiola to discuss working with the 45-year-old although the Arsenal man does have other offers on the table.
